DYNLT3 is a member of thedynein motor protein family. DYNLT3 binds toBUB3, aspindle checkpoint protein is present onkinetochores atprometaphase.[7] DYNLT3 can also function as a transcription regulator ofBcl-2 gene through binding toSATB1 in a dynein-independent manner.[8]
