Cypsela orKypsela (Ancient Greek:Κυψέλα or Κύψελα), was anancient Greek[1] town on the riverHebrus inancient Thrace, which was once an important place on theVia Egnatia.[2][3][4][5][6][7]Antiochus besieged Cypsela and its citizens surrendered and became allies with Antiochus.[8]
Its site is located near the modernİpsala.[9][10]
