Cygnus OB7 is anOB association in the giantCygnus molecular cloud complex, which also contains the star-forming regionsCygnus X, theNorth America Nebula and thePelican Nebula. TheNorthern Coalsack Nebula of theCygnus Rift lies in the foreground of this region. The molecular cloud has a largeangular size of ~4° × 7°.[3]
