Cyanonilutamide (developmental code nameRU-56279) is anonsteroidal antiandrogen which was never marketed.[1][2] Both RU-56187 andRU-58841 appear to beprodrugs of cyanonilutamidein vivo in animals.[2] It has relatively lowaffinity for theandrogen receptor but nonetheless shows significantantiandrogenic activity in animals.[2]
