Cucumisin (EC 3.4.21.25,euphorbain,solanain,hurain,tabernamontanain) is anenzyme.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]^[6]^[7] This enzymecatalyzes hydrolysis of a wide range of proteins. It has been identified as anallergen in humans.^[8]

This enzyme is isolated from thesarcocarp of themusk melon (Cucumis melo).
