Cronin Peak is ahighmountainsummit in the southernSawatch Range of theRocky Mountains ofNorth America. The 13,877-foot (4,230 m)thirteener is located inSan Isabel National Forest, 12.9 miles (20.8 km) southwest by west (bearing 241°) of the community ofNathrop inChaffee County,Colorado,United States.[1][2] Cronin Peak was named in honor of Mary Cronin, who in 1934 become the first woman to climb all 53Colorado fourteeners.[3]
