Cristiana Girelli (born 23 April 1990) is an Italian professionalfootballer who plays as astriker forSerie A clubJuventus and theItaly women's national team.

Girelli joined Juventus in 2018, after five seasons withBrescia.[1] She is the top scorer of theSerie A2019–20 season,[2]2020–21 season[2] and the2024–25 season.[2]

International career

She made her debut for the seniorItalian national team in a March 2013 friendly againstEngland,[3] and soon afterwards she was selected for the2013 UEFA Euro's final tournament. She led the Italian scoring in the qualifiers for the2017 UEFA Euro, where she scored a late winner againstOlympic runner-upSweden. She has also been anUnder-19 international.[4]

Girelli was called up to the Italy squad for theUEFA Women's Euro 2017.[5]

Girelli was called up to the Italy squad for the2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.[6]

On 26 June 2022, Girelli was announced in the Italy squad for theUEFA Women's Euro 2022.[7]

On 2 July 2023, Girelli was called up to the 23-player Italy squad for the2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.[8] In Italy's first game of the2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, Girelli scored the only goal againstArgentina.[9]

On 25 June 2025, Girelli was called up to the Italy squad for theUEFA Women's Euro 2025.[10]
