Crevoladossola is acomune (municipality) in theProvince of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in theItalian regionPiedmont, located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) northeast ofTurin and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northwest ofVerbania.
Crevoladossola borders the following municipalities:Bognanco,Crodo,Domodossola,Masera,Montecrestese,Trasquera,Varzo. In 1487, it was the location of thebattle of Crevola between theSwiss Confederation and theDuchy of Milan.
The CrevoladossolaArt Deco hydroelectric power plant was built byEttore Conti in 1925, and designed by the architectPiero Portaluppi. It was renovated in 2011.[4]
