Courtney Wayment-Smith (née Wayment; born August 4, 1998) is an Americantrack and field athlete. Originally fromLayton, Utah, Wayment representsOn Running and competed forTeam USA in the3000 m steeplechase at the2024 Summer Olympics, finishing 12th with a time of 9:13.6.[1]

Prior to going pro, Wayment competed for theBYU Cougars. There she won fourNCAA Division I championships and was an eight-timeAll-American.[2] In high school, Wayment wasGatorade Player of the Year and a three-timeUHSAA state champion.[3][4][5][6]

Wayment is a member ofThe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.[7] She is married to Tanner Smith and competes under her maiden nameCourtney Wayment.[8]
