Cotylelobium is a genus of plants in the familyDipterocarpaceae. The nameCotylelobium is derived fromGreek (kotyle = a small cup andlobos = a pod) and describes the receptacle. It contains five species distributed inSri Lanka, PeninsularThailand,Sumatra,Peninsular Malaysia andBorneo.[2] All five species are listed on theIUCN redlist, as eithervulnerable,endangered orcritically endangered.
