Coreopsis petrophila is a Mexican species of flowering plants in the familyAsteraceae. It is native to the States ofJalisco,Durango,Nayarit, andGuerrero in westernMexico.[1][2]
Coreopsis petrophila is a branchingsubshrub, growing largely on rocky slopes. Leaves arepinnately lobed with narrow lobes. Each major branch has a group of small yellowflower heads, each with bothray florets anddisc florets.[1]
