Cooperstown, historically known asCoopertown, is anunincorporated community located along the border ofEdgewater Park andWillingboro townships inBurlington County, New Jersey, United States.[2] The community was named byWilliam Cooper, the father of the authorFenimore Cooper.[3] TheCoopertown Meetinghouse was built in 1806 and added to theNational Register of Historic Places in 1978.[4]
