Aconversation tart (French:tarte conversation) is a type oftart made withpuff pastry that is filled withfrangipane cream and topped withroyal icing.[1] The recipe was created in the late 18th century to celebrate the publication ofles Conversations d'Émilie byLouise d'Épinay.[2][3][4]
