Consular corps (fromFrench:Corps consulaire and commonly abbreviatedCC) is a concept analogous todiplomatic corps, but concerning the staff, estates and work ofa consulate.

"Whileambassadors and diplomatic staff are devoted to bettering all categories of thebilateral relationship with the host country, the consular corps is in charge of looking after their ownforeign nationals in the host country."[1]
