Constantin Kirițescu (September 3, 1876 – August 12, 1965) was aRomanian zoologist, educator and historian. Born and schooled inBucharest, he occupied successive posts in theEducation Ministry, with education being a running theme of his diverse interests. He was among the founders of theRomanian Academy of Sciences.[1]
Kirițescu was a teacher atSaint Sava High School. His name is most associated withIstoria războiului pentru reîntregirea României ("The History of the War That United Romania"),[1] a 1922 account of the part playedby Romania inWorld War I.[2]
