TheCongressional Caucus for the Equal Rights Amendment is acongressional caucus affiliated with theDemocratic Party in theUnited States House of Representatives.
The caucus was launched 100 years after theEqual Rights Amendment (ERA) was first introduced in Congress.[1] The Equal Rights Amendment Caucus will reportedly "partner with advocates, activists, scholars, organizers, and public figures to establish a constitutional right to gender equality, and raise awareness".[2] The caucus will work to affirm the ERA as the 28th Amendment to theConstitution of the United States.[3]
