Communications in the Marshall Islands

TheMarshall Islands is an island country inOceania.

In 2010, theMajuro andKwajalein Atoll were connected to theHANTRU-1undersea communications cable to provide high-speedbandwidth. Fasterinternet service was rolled out to Majuro andEbeye on April 1, 2010.[1]

The majority of communication is under the responsibility ofMarshall Islands National Telecommunications Authority.
