Comben Homes was a largeBritishhouse building company that operated from 1907 and was acquired in 1984 byTrafalgar House.
The company was founded in 1907 by James White Comben and William Henry Wakeling asComben & Wakeling and was incorporated as a private company in 1924.[1]
In 1972 it bought Ryedale Homes fromDuncan Davidson for £1m and changed its name toComben Group and subsequently traded asComben Homes.[2][3]
In 1984, it was acquired byTrafalgar House and integrated in itsIdeal Homes housebuilding business.[4]
