Coed-Ely orCoedely is a small village located to the south ofTonyrefail in southWales and is located in the County Borough ofRhondda Cynon Taf. The nameCoed-Ely is a derivative of the Welsh wordsCoed-Elái which can be loosely translated into English asEly Woods.

'Coedely' is also a communityward for elections to Tonyrefail Community Council.^[1]
