TheCodex Mediolanensis orFragmentum Mediolanense, designated byg2 or52 (inBeuron system), is a 10th- or 11th-centuryLatin manuscript of theNew Testament. The text, written onvellum, is a version of theVetus Latina. The manuscript contains the fragments of theGospel of Luke, on only 2 parchment leaves.[1] It was a lectionary.
It contains a fragments of theActs of the Apostles 6:8-7:2; 7:51-8:4 on two folios. It was published by A. M. Ceriani.[1]
The Latin text of the codex is a representative of theWestern text-type initala recension.[2]
The manuscript was discovered by Ceriani.[3] Currently it is housed at theAmbrosian Library (B. 168) inMilan.[1]
