Code page 1106 (CCSID 1106),[1] also known asCP1106[2] orS7DEC,[3] is anIBM code page number assigned to theSwedish variant ofDEC'sNational Replacement Character Set (NRCS).[4][5] The 7-bit character set was introduced for DEC'scomputer terminal systems, starting with theVT200 series in 1983, but is also used by IBM for their DEC emulation. Similar but not identical to the series ofISO 646 character sets, the character set is a close derivation fromASCII with only ten code points differing.
