Cnaphalocrocis cochrusalis, themarasmia moth, is amoth in the familyCrambidae.[1] It is found in theWest Indies (includingPuerto Rico,Cuba and theDominican Republic),Costa Rica,[2]Honduras and theUnited States, where it has been recorded fromFlorida,Louisiana,Mississippi,Oklahoma,South Carolina andTexas.[3]
The forewings are whitish cinereous with dark brown interior and exterior lines, a brown submarginal line and a dark brown marginal line.[4] Adults have been recorded on wing year-round in Florida.
