Cavg is the average concentration of a drug in thecentral circulation during a dosing interval insteady state. It is calculated by

Cavg=AUCτ,ssτ{\displaystyle C_{\text{avg}}={\frac {AUC_{\tau ,{\text{ss}}}}{\tau }}}

whereAUCτ,ss{\displaystyle AUC_{\tau ,{\text{ss}}}} is thearea under the curve andτ{\displaystyle \tau } the dosing interval.
