Clyde Whitlock King (September 6, 1898 – August 20, 1982) was an Americanrower who competed in the1920 Summer Olympics.[1]
King was born inMontezuma, Iowa.[2] In 1920, he was part of the American boat from theUnited States Naval Academy (USNA), which won the gold medal in themen's eight.[2]
He graduated from USNA in 1922, served duringWorld War II and Korea, and rose to the rank ofrear admiral. King died inMill Valley, California,[2] and is buried with his wife Marjorie inGolden Gate National Cemetery.
