Cloghy[1][2] (/ˈklɔːxiː/KLAWKH-ee; fromIrishClochaigh, meaning 'stony place'),[1][2] also speltCloughy[2] orCloughey,[3] is a smallvillage inCounty Down,Northern Ireland. It lies on the east (Irish Sea) coast of theArds Peninsula, in theArds and North Down Borough. It had a population of 1,075 people in the 2011 Census.[4]
