Climax Lourenco Lawrence (born 16 January 1979) is a retired Indian professionalfootball midfielder.[2][3] He last played for FC Bardez in theGoa Professional League in 2017.

National team

In 2002, he was called to theIndia national football team by coachStephen Constantine and has since been a part. In theAFC Challenge Cup, he scored the winning goal in the 91st minute against Afghanistan to help India to a 1–0 victory.[4] He retired from national team on 1 February 2012.

As member of AIFF

On 2 September 2022, Lawrence was elected as a co-opted member of the technical committee of theAll India Football Federation.[7][8][9]

Managerial career

Lawrence became assistant manager of Goan clubSporting CG in 2023, helped the team winning inaugural edition of theI-League 3, and securing promotion toI-League 2.[10][11][12]
