Cleveland is a township of about 1,600 people inLe Val-Saint-François Regional County Municipality in theEstrie region ofQuebec, Canada.
It was named after George Nelson Cleveland, the first mayor.[1]
In the2021 Census of Population conducted byStatistics Canada, Cleveland had a population of1,581 living in588 of its696 total private dwellings, a change of2.6% from its 2016 population of1,541. With a land area of 123.59 km2 (47.72 sq mi), it had a population density of12.8/km2 (33.1/sq mi) in 2021.[5]
