Claudio Castellini (born 3 March 1966) is an Italiancomic book artist.
Castellini's first published work was the March 1989 episode of the Italianhorror seriesDylan Dog, published bySergio Bonelli Editore. This was followed by a secondDylan Dog story in September 1990. In 1991 Castellini collaborated in the graphic elaboration ofscience fiction seriesNathan Never, and continued drawing covers for the series until issue #59.
His first work forMarvel Comics wasSilver Surfer: Dangerous Artifacts, a Silver Surfer graphic novel written byRon Marz, published in June 1996. He produced covers forCosmic Powers Unlimited andElektra Magazine, drewFantastic Four Unlimited from 1993 to 1995, and worked on theintercompany crossover miniseriesDC vs. Marvel.[1]
Castellini's other work includesSpider-Man,Conan the Barbarian andBatman: Gotham Knights. He drew the 100-page comic book one-shotMan and Superman in 2019 with writerMarv Wolfman.[2]
Written by Peter David and Ron Marz with art by Dan Jurgens and Claudio Castellini, this four-issue miniseries event consisted of five major battles voted on in advance by reader ballots distributed to comic stores.
