Claude Ouimet (April 13, 1961 – October 6, 2019) was a Canadian actor best known for his role as the villainous characterBlob in the movieX-Men: Apocalypse.^[1]

Ouimet appeared inNo Holds Barred,Carny andX-Men: Apocalypse.^[2]

He was also a professional wrestler from 1985 to 1989 as Giant Gustav and Gustav the Giant working in Central and Eastern Canada, New England, Central States and Japan.^[3] Trained byEdouard Carpentier. He would appear in No Holds Barred film where he lost toZeus. That would get him into his acting career.

Ouimet died of a heart attack at the age of 58 while driving with his wife on October 6, 2019. His vehicle collided into a house. His wife survived the crash.^[4][5]
