Greek port town on the coast of ancient Paphlagonia

Cinolis orKinolis (Ancient Greek:Κίνωλις), also known asCimolis orKimolis (Κίμωλις), was a Greek[1] small port town on the coast ofancient Paphlagonia. According toArrian it was situate 180stadia west ofStephane,[2] but according toMarcian of Heraclea only 150.[3] The nearby town ofAnticinolis was located 80 stadia from Cinolis.

Its site is located nearGinoğlu,Kastamonu Province,Turkey.[4][5]
