Churton by Farndon is a formercivil parish, now in the parish ofChurton, in the borough ofCheshire West and Chester andceremonial county ofCheshire in England. In 2001 it had a population of 146,[1] increasing to 153 at the 2011 Census.[2] The parish included the southern part of the village of Churton (the northern part was in the adjacent parish ofChurton by Aldford).
Churton by Farndon was formerly atownship in the parish ofFarndon,[3] in 1866 Churton by Farndon became a separate civil parish,[4] on 1 April 2015 the parish was abolished to form Churton.[5]
