TheChristian Social Party (German:Christlich-Soziale Partei,pronounced[ˈkʁɪstlɪçzoˈtsi̯aːləpaʁˈtaɪ],CSP) is aChristian democratic[3]political party operating in theGerman-speaking Community of Belgium. Its president isLuc Frank.
In the1994 European Parliament election, standing asChristlich-Soziale Partei - Europäische Volkspartei, the party gained the single seat allocated byBelgian law to the German-speaking community. The party has maintained this seat since then. The CSP works with its Francophone counterpartLes Engagés in other elections.
