French writer and journalist (born 1969)

Christian Authier, born 1969 inToulouse, is a French writer and journalist. He has amaster's degree in history from theUniversity of Toulouse II and a degree from theInstitut d'études politiques de Toulouse. His second novel,Les Liens défaits from 2006, received theRoger Nimier Prize. He received the 2014Prix Renaudot de l'essai forDe chez nous. He has written several non-fiction books about cinema, including two devoted toClint Eastwood. He has also worked forLe Figaro littéraire.[1]
