Chris Garrett (born June 12, 1998) is an American professionalfootball player who is alinebacker for theOrlando Storm of theUnited Football League (UFL). He playedcollege football atConcordia–St. Paul and was selected by theLos Angeles Rams of theNational Football League (NFL) in the seventh round of the2021 NFL draft .
Professional career [ edit ] Garrett was selected by theLos Angeles Rams in the seventh round, 252nd overall, of the2021 NFL draft .[ 2] On May 16, 2021, Garrett signed his four-year rookie contract with Los Angeles.[ 3] Garrett won his firstSuper Bowl ring when the Rams defeated theCincinnati Bengals inSuper Bowl LVI . Garrett played in one NFL regular season game.[ 4] He was waived on August 30, 2022.[ 5]
On September 14, 2022, Garrett signed with thepractice squad of theMinnesota Vikings .[ 6] He was released on January 3, 2023.
On January 10, 2023, Garrett was signed to theSeattle Seahawks practice squad.[ 7] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 17, 2023.[ 8] He was waived on May 22, 2023.
Garrett signed with theHouston Gamblers of theUnited States Football League on June 6, 2023.[ 9] Garrett and all other Gamblers players and coaches were all transferred to theHouston Roughnecks after it was announced that the Gamblers took on the identity of theirXFL counterpart, the Roughnecks.[ 10]
St. Louis Battlehawks (first stint)[ edit ] On January 15, 2024, Garrett was selected by theSt. Louis Battlehawks in the second round of the Super Draft portion of the2024 UFL dispersal draft .[ 11] He was waived on March 22, 2024.[ 12] He was re-signed on April 2, 2024.[ 13] He was named the 2024 UFL Special Teams Player of the Year on June 7, 2024.[ 14] His contract was terminated on August 19, 2024, to sign with an NFL team.[ 15]
On August 20, 2024, Garrett was signed by theArizona Cardinals , but waived six days later.[ 16] [ 17]
St. Louis Battlehawks (second stint)[ edit ] On October 31, 2024, Garrett re-signed with the Battlehawks.[ 18] He was placed on injured reserve on June 2, 2025.[ 19]
On January 13, 2026, Garrett was selected by theOrlando Storm in the 2026 UFL Draft.[ 20]
