Chlormezanone (marketed under thebrandnameTrancopal orFenaprim) is adrug used as ananxiolytic and amuscle relaxant.[1]

Its use was discontinued in many countries in 1996 due to rare but serious cases oftoxic epidermal necrolysis.[2]
