Chlorellosis

Infectious disease of mammals and fish

Chlorellosis is a disease caused by the infection ofChlorella, a type ofmicroalgae containing large amount ofchloroplasts. It is mainly found insheep andcattle, while cases inhumans,dogs,antelopes,beavers,camels andfish, were also reported.[1][2] Symptoms of Chlorellosis includingfocal cutaneous lesions,lymphadenitis, andperitonitis.[3]
