Childe Madaleno Fortuna Dundão (born 17 May 1998) is an Angolanbasketball player who plays forPetro de Luanda of theAngolan Basketball League and theBasketball Africa League (BAL). Standing at 1.67 m (5 ft5+1⁄2 in), he plays aspoint guard.
Dundão started his career withPetro de Luanda in 2016. On 8 January, he re-signed for another season.[1]
Dundão helped Petro reach the2022 BAL Finals as the team's starting point guard, gatheringAll-Defensive Team honours in the same season.[2]
In the 2023 season, Dundão won the national triple with Petro;[3] he also lead the league in assists per game. He was named the 2023Angolan Cup Final MVP.[4]
On May 12, 2024, Dundão won his firstAngolan Basketball League MVP award on the same day he guided Petro to a fifth consecutive.[5][6] One month later, on June 1, Petro won their firstBAL championship.[7]
Dundão has played for theAngola national junior teams in the2016 FIBA Africa Under-18 Championship and the2017 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup.
He has been a major part of the Angola senior team in recent years.
