Thechief minister of Punjab (Urdu:وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب;Wazīr-e Aʿlá Panjāb) is thehead of government of thePakistani province ofPunjab. The chief minister leads thelegislative branch of theprovincial government, and is elected by the provincial assembly forProvincial Assembly. Given that they have the confidence of the assembly, the chief minister's term is for five years and is subject to no term limits.Maryam Nawaz Sharif is the current elected chief minister of Punjab.

The office of Chief Minister is located inLahore, the capital of the Punjab province and is known as theCM Secretariat.[1]
