Chengqu (simplified Chinese:城区;traditional Chinese:城區;pinyin:Chéng Qū;lit. 'City District') is adistrict ofShanwei,Guangdong Province,People's Republic of China.
The district includes Shanwei's central urban area, as well as nearby towns and localities, such asDongzhou.
The People's Republic of China claims thePratas Islands (东沙群岛) as part of Chengqu.[1][2][3]: 10 The island is part ofCijin District,Kaohsiung,Taiwan (ROC).
