Chelodina steindachneri, commonly known as thedinner-plate turtle,Steindachner's turtle and orSteindachner's flat-shell turtle, is aspecies of turtle in thefamilyChelidae. The species is the least known of theAustralian turtles and also one of the smallest members of the long-necked turtles of thegenusChelodina. It is a member of the subgenusChelodina making it closely related to theChelodina longicollis group of species.
