Description

Chapultepec Lupita is aTex-Mex restaurant operating in a "funky old house that seems to go on forever", according to theHouston Press. Located inHouston'sMontrose neighborhood, the restaurant has been described as "an institution for the all-night crowd looking for a late-night/early-morning hangover cure".[2] The menu includesalambres,chilaquiles,enchiladas,huevos rancheros,mole sauce,quesadillas, Mediterranean-stylesalmon,tortilla-crusted snapper,tamales, and pecancheesecake. The drink menu has approximately 60tequilas and 20margarita varieties.[2]

Reception

Eric Sandler included the restaurant inEater Houston's 2013 list of 16 "classic"greasy spoons.[3] Chapultepec was included in theHouston Chronicle's 2016 list of best restaurant salsas.[4]
