Chadwick E. "Chad" Harting (born February 20, 1972) is a retired Americanpole vaulter.[1]

He won the silver medal at the1997 Summer Universiade.[citation needed] He competed at the2000 Summer Olympics inSydney, in themen's pole vault.[1] His personal best jump was 5.80 metres, achieved indoors in January 2000 inReno, Nevada.[2]

Harting was born inSt. Louis, Missouri.[1]
