Cette-Eygun (French pronunciation:[sɛteɡœ̃];Occitan:Cèta e Eigun) is acommune in thePyrénées-Atlantiquesdepartment in south-westernFrance.
The famous restaurateur Jean Bergez immigrated from Cette-Eygun toSan Francisco, California around 1877.[3] He worked his way up in the restaurant business before becoming one of the proprietors of the acclaimedBergez-Frank's Old Poodle Dog in San Francisco.[4]
Its station on thePau–Canfranc railway was closed after an accident in 1970.
