Ceregnano (Venetian:Zernian) is acomune (municipality) in theProvince of Rovigo in theItalian regionVeneto, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southwest ofVenice and about 8 kilometres (5 mi) southeast ofRovigo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,951 and an area of 30.0 square kilometres (11.6 sq mi).[3]
