TheCentral Anatolia region (Turkish:İç Anadolu Bölgesi) is ageographical region ofTurkey. The largest city in the region isAnkara, the capital ofTurkey. Other big cities areKonya,Kayseri,Eskişehir,Sivas,Aksaray andKırşehir.

Located in Central Turkey, it is bordered by theAegean region to the west, theBlack Sea region to the north, theEastern Anatolia region to the east, and theMediterranean region to the south. It also shares a very slight border with theMarmara region inBilecik Province.

Climate
