Celtic mazes arestraight-linespiralkey patterns that have been drawn all over the world sinceprehistoric times. The patterns originate in earlyCeltic developments in stone and metal-work, and later in medievalInsular art. Prehistoric spiral designs date back toGavrinis (c. 3500 BCE).[1]
