Cauville-sur-Mer (French pronunciation:[kovilsyʁmɛʁ], literallyCauville on Sea) is acommune in theSeine-Maritimedepartment in theNormandyregion in northernFrance.
Afarming village situated in thePays de Caux, some 10 miles (16 km) northeast ofLe Havre, at the junction of the D940 and D311 roads and on the coast of theEnglish Channel. The cliffs here reach up to over 100 metres in height.
