TheCatubrini were aGallic tribe dwelling inCadore (Veneto) during theRoman period.

Name

They are mentioned asCatubrinorum on inscriptions.[1]

Geography

The Catubrini lived in the region ofCadore (Catubrium), in the upper valley of thePiave river, north ofBellunum.[2] Their territory was located south of theSaevates, west of theAmbilici andCarni, north of theMisquilenses, east of theTuliassi. Probably they were a ver sacrum of the Carni.[3]
