From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It is used to build and maintain a list or lists of pages—primarily for the sake of the lists themselves and their use in article and category maintenance. It is not part of theencyclopedia's categorization scheme.
More information:
  • This category ishidden on itsmember pages—unless the correspondinguser preference (Appearance → Show hidden categories) is set.
  • These categories are used to track, build and organize lists of pages needing "attentionen masse" (for example, pages using deprecated syntax), or that may need to be edited at someone's earliest convenience.
  • These categories also serve to aggregate members of several lists or subcategories into a larger, more efficient list (discriminated by classifications).
  • Typically, tracking categories are automatically populated by templates invoked in pages or by the MediaWiki software (seeSpecial:TrackingCategories for an overview of the latter).
Administrators: Please do not delete this category as empty!
This category may be empty occasionally or even most of the time.

This is a tracking category forCS1 citations that have|oclc= errors.

Help desk

Check|oclc= value

The|oclc= parameter is for theOCLC identifier. Only a single OCLC identifier is allowed. (If relevant, multiple OCLCs can be specified using|id={{OCLC|...}} instead.)

The identifier must be in one of these forms:

  1. prefixocm followed by 8 digits
  2. prefixocn followed by 9 digits
  3. prefixon followed by 10 (or more) digits
  4. prefix(OCoLC) followed by a variable number of digits without leading zeros
  5. 1 to 10 (or more) digits without prefix

Further validation is not performed.

To resolve this error, ensure that the|oclc= value is correct.

If the value is correct and larger than the currently configured limit of 11090000000, please report this atHelp talk:Citation Style 1, so that the limit can be updated.

A tip for fixing this error: Editors sometimes place validISBN,LCCN,ASIN, or other identifiers in|oclc=.

Pages with this error are automatically placed in Category:CS1 errors: OCLC.[a]
