CatSper3, is aprotein which in humans is encoded by theCATSPER3gene.^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8] CatSper3 is a member of thecation channels of sperm family of proteins. The four proteins in this family together form aCa²⁺-permeantion channel specific essential for the correct function of sperm cells.^[9]
